Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate Problem Tools and the features you choose to use.
- Account access: your email address and, when Google sign-in is enabled, the basic name, email and profile image Google returns.
- Release signup: the email address you submit, your consent, the signup source and the time of that consent.
- Security and operations: limited request, device and network information contained in hosting, delivery and abuse-prevention logs.
- Local preferences: saved items and interface choices may be stored in your browser rather than on our servers.
How we use information
We use account information to verify identity, create a secure session, deliver one-time access messages and unlock protected actions. We use release-signup information to send the product updates you requested and to measure the usefulness of those releases.
Account access does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Release emails are sent only after the separate consent shown on the signup form.
Service providers
Problem Tools relies on a small set of service providers that process information for us: Vercel for hosting and operational logs, Resend for email delivery and opted-in contact management, and Google for OAuth identity when that option is enabled.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and security
Opted-in release contacts are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Authentication and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service, subject to our providers’ log-retention periods.
We use encryption in transit, signed sessions, short-lived verification codes, origin checks, rate controls and restricted server-side credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in a release email. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your email by contacting privacy@problem.tv.
Depending on where you live, local law may provide additional privacy rights. We will respond to verified requests as required.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as Problem Tools evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
